SIXTH ANNUAL EAST TENNESSEE WORLD LANGUAGE WORKSHOP

MARCH 29, 2014


Our sixth annual workshop was held at Farragut HS, Knox County Schools, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Following breakfast and registration, there was a plenary session, two 1-hour concurrent language-specific sessions (in Chinese, French, German, Latin and Spanish), off-campus language cohort sessions, a third 1-hour language-specific session (for all 5 language cohorts), ending with final words from the Workshop Facilitator and the awarding of printed, individualized Certificates of Attendance to all registered Workshop participants.  Ninety-two teachers from all regions of the state (West, Middle and East) attended this event that was jointly supported by The University of Tennessee's Academic Departments of Classics, Modern Foreign Languages and LIteratures and Theory and Practice in Teacher Education.
